Pelvic Girdle Pain1

Patient History:
  • 10-month history of severe right-sided pelvic girdle pain, worsened with sitting on affected side, stairs, or prolonged walking or standing
  • Failed non-operative treatment after trying for 8 months
  • Physical exam + Fortin test, provocative maneuvers, and greater than 75% relief with 2 diagnostic SI joint injections
  • Lumbar MRI showed multilevel degenerative changes with minimal stenosis
